Your first edit, without the fuss.
A short introduction to the workspace, from opening an image to keeping the finished result.
1. Open the workspace
Choose Open the editor. On the first visit, the browser downloads the editing program. Wait for the workspace to appear. A current desktop browser is the best place to start.
2. Open an image
Use File → Open and select a JPEG, PNG or PSD from your device. Selecting a file lets the browser read it locally; the editor does not need to upload your document.
3. Find your way around
The canvas shows your image. The toolbar contains selection, brush, text and transformation tools. The Layers panel separates the elements in your composition. Start with a copy of an important file while you learn.
4. Make a small change
Try adding a text layer with the Type tool, drawing with the Brush, or exploring a color adjustment. Keep changes on separate layers where possible. Use Edit → Undo if an experiment does not work out.
5. Save what you made
Use File → Save As to keep an editable document, or File → Export for an image you can share. Confirm that the downloaded file opens as expected before closing your tab.
This release does not offer browser autosave or crash recovery. Refreshing or closing the editor can lose unsaved work.
A few useful habits
- Keep your original document untouched until you have checked the export.
- Save editable and shareable copies separately.
- Start with a modest-sized image if your device is struggling.
